Nilknarf Daily Haiku

The storms will roll in,
we stand naked before them;
powerless, fearful.

Got to sleep at 02:00 last night, got up at 06:00.

Damned naps. I love 'em!

It was a good day, nonetheless.

I'm going to get my legs fixed tomorrow!

Lynn, the radiologist's nurse, is going to call me at 07:30 to tell me if it's gonna be 10:00 or 13:00, it's most likely to be 13:00, though.

So I should be up by 06:00 so I can eat before 07:00, then be on clear liquids.

Kim is going to take off from work and take me down there, and I'm going to get one of my buddies from CT to put my IV in... can't fool me twice, heh. My partners are good. Eh, ex-partners, friends, I should say at this point.

What they are going to do is open up the internal iliac arteries on both sides with catheters and then put stents in them. I have aberrant arteries that supply my hips, which are normally supplied by the external iliacs and/or the femorals.

I am so hoping that this will work!

After they get the procedure done, should take about an hour, Lana will be taking me home, so Kim doesn't have to take off again... Lana will be getting off at about the right time.

I went over to Lanas' tonight after she got off and she fixed hamburgers for us and we watched some TV... CSI something-or-another, and it turned out to be a two-parter, dammit. So I have to watch it again next week.

Oddly, I really think that a lot of the commercials are pretty neat. Of course, it's the first time that I have seen them, hardly ever watching commercial TV.

When I got home, I had a friend ask me to chat on Yahoo earlier, so I loaded that up... I have never chatted before to any extent, and it was fun. Young gal from Africa, seemed really nice.

I can see how it would be a major time-suck, though.

And I have things to go and sleep to get... and I better start moving.
