ARCHIVES - 1996 to FOREVER

I got up fairly early, gave her the 08:00 medications and told her that I would awaken her at 13:00....

She wanted a reprieve, so of course I granted it... but Debbie got here at 13:15, so I made her get up then.

And then Karen sent me off to get her a caramel roll...

And the two caramel-roll sources were all sold out, in fact, one of them was closed. So at dimple donuts, I got two apple-iced (looks like caramel to me) donuts, and Karen ate both of them.

Karen mostly stayed up, but Deb went to check into her motel and Karen was fast asleep again. JD called, and I gently tried to awaken her to no avail.

I did give him a call after she had wakened, though, and she enjoyed talking to him.

Most of the kids got here about 16:30... and Kim and Debbie went to Olive Garden and got carry-out, which was really nice.

And right now, three of four grandkids are here, one was here earlier and left, and two kids, Kim and Matt. Andy was here earlier but her left, but he did go pick up brian and brought him over.

Reta and I are just kinda letting everyone visit with Karen, since we get to see her every day, of course, and they don't... especially Debbie.

Karen is gonna be so tired tonight...

And Karen is still going, enjoying every minutes of everybody....

And Kim and Patrick and Lacee are leaving, and soo everyone else will, and we'll put Karen to bed then.

I'm planning on going to work tomorrow and Friday, so I'll be going to bed shortly too.

Fuck cancer. Just fuck it.
