It seems that no matter when I go to bed, I still don't get to sleep until 23:00, dammit. But this morning I slept until 10:30, and that was nice. So... I should be well-rested, heh? It don't seem to work that way. I went over to the old house about noonish, and replaced a window in the back door. Took me two hours... I hate glazing. I don't do it well... and I always try to avoid it when I can. I've got three more windows to fix, and they're all in metal frames, and that sucks even more than wood frames. Patrick and Brian helped me put the doors back on, and I put up the other living-room light... then we went downstairs and tried to jack the sagging old kitchen up. Didn't work... well, it almost did, when the brick between the jack and the joist broke. We're damned lucky that someone didn't get hurt. So I'll go to Lowes' tomorrow and get some steel plates or something else that we can do the job with. I did have a coupla floor jacks, but I don't know where they went, and this crawl space is too short for them anyway. And that seemed to pretty much wear me out, so we came back home and didn't do anything else, and now it's bedtime. And I'm gonna sleep in tomorrow, too.
