Gravity will win...
no matter what the effort.
physics is a bitch.

A nice day, albeit one in which I accomplished absolutely nothing... well, almost nothing.

I did get some oak cut out for a short towel bar for the bathroom, I'm making it to match the one that I made 20 years ago... and from the same batch of oak, even, heh.

No calls today, and there probably won't be any tomorrow, either... a former night tech wanted the 07:00-19:00 piece of Sunday, and that was fine with me. She's not familiar with the new machine, though, so if anything really complicated needs doing, I'll have to go in.

I did get called last night, though, about 01:15... just answered a question... and it just happened to be about the same patient that I'd mentioned last night... same problem, just a different anatomical area.

Karen baked some apple pies today... from scratch, almost, she bought the crusts. Delicious, yes.

Reading and thinking a lot about the ME problem, and the doom-sayers are out in force, and I'm almost ready to jump on the bandwagon. I can just really see this administration lolling about, waiting for Iran to play its' hand and then jump on them with a few nukes.

BabyBush doesn't just want to be a *war* president... he wants to be a *nuc-u-lar war* president. He makes his daddy proud, don't he?

Speaking of daddies... I had a weird dream last night that saw me attending the deaths and funerals of Karen and both my boys and JDs' best friend... I don't know where that came from.

After Karen's' funeral, JD was on one of those trapezes that are used between buildings, about two hundred feet in the air, and he just let go. And then it was Tyler, and then Colin... I kept telling them, "Don't do that!" and they kept ignoring me and falling to their deaths.

I don't know how it started out withKaren'ss' funeral, though, that part is really fuzzy.

She told me that I'd woke her up saying, "Don't do that!" repeatedly....
