Yet another very busy day. We just can't run without a full staff, that's all there is to it. No lunch yet again. That's getting really old, it is. I need a half-hour away from there at least some time during the day. And lunch would be nice. Went by Lowe's on the way home and got the works. Came home and put it all together. Still leaked. Took it apart, put it together again... still leaked. Third time's a charm? Yep, finally. I am keeping my fingers crossed, of course. Heh, crossing the fingers, gotta be religious, if not just plain superstitious. Something that has really been irritating me lately... like I have mentioned, I eat a salad for lunch almost every day. And I really like those little bread sticks, y'lnow, the ones with sesame seeds on them? Yeah. Well, I really hadn't had any of them for a coupla years, and they had them out and I remembered how much I liked them so I got a handfull. Well, they were OK, but... y'know, the sesame seeds usta come off and collect in the bottom of the celophane packaging, and then you could upend the tube and get the fallen-off seeds. That was nice... but you can't do that any more. Nope, they've super-glued the seeds to the bread stick. Nary a one comes off, damn 'em. I mean, yeah, the breadsticks are good, but the pleasure of eating them has lost something. So, is that really better'n talking about religion or politics? No, not really better, heh, just different. Maybe I'll find just one thing to bitch about each day, and that'll do it. And I can't repeat the bitches for, well, say, a month. Nah. The VP of the finance company called me tonight, sweetened the deal up a bunch. I think that what he did was cut the salesman out completely. I'm still really not sold, though. They're all weasles, every one. Besides, we're not working with our current lender, and he seems to think that we have some leverage... we'll see how that works out. Weasles, like I said. I did get a good night's sleep last night, that was nice. And I need to get another tonight, tomorrow is gonna be another bitch of a day, and I'm the runner, and I will be running...
