Karen and I slept until 11:00 this morning... lazy, lazy people!
It was really nice... I'm starting to take my BP on a more regular basis here at home... changed some meds last Tuesday, trying to figger out if they're working or not. The doc first recommended that I take a pill that I normally take only in the morning in the evening too, then he decided to give me a sample of the extended variety of the med. From what I seem to be seeing, the first idea was better... I was very late taking the meds this morning, so that might have blown the resulting stats that I'm keeping. I'll give it a few more days, which is all that I have meds for anyway. Anyway, after we finally got up and around, we did get some work done, but not a whole lot. We went to the store around 19:00, after the sun got low, and filled up the new fridge. We threw out a lot of stuff in the transition... we're mainly gonna put sale stuff in the freezer, and we haven't been to any sales lately. Hot today, as promised. Not bad tonight, unless you want to breathe. Breathing has been a problem for me lately, I still haven't gotten rid of the cough. Twenty-four days, but who's counting? But we didn't spend much time outside. Today's picture is of the little cat, whose name is Fluffy, although Karen and Lacee insist on calling her Pudie. She is on the top shelf of the baker's rack, which is filled with knick-knacks and odds and ends. Some of them fragile, but that number has been reduced lately. I am now, and always have been, of the school that says cats belong on floors, not on cabinets or other pieces of furniture. Karen disagrees with this, and thinks that cats should be pretty much wherever they want to be. Well, she does get a little irritated when they break things, unless they're my things, in which case they (the things, not the cats) were obviously stored in the wrong place... I did see her move Callie (formerly BabyCat) off of the bar today, though... so maybe there is still some hope left for her.
