Well, I wasn't sniffling when I woke up this morning.
No, I had a headache. One that has persisted, in varying degrees, all damned day. I think the degree depends on when I last took a pill.

Through the headachy haze that I've had to negotiate today, I did manage to get one of the old computers kinda working. This is important to me, because I've had a lot of low blows to my ego lately. Right now I'm burning another copy of RedHat 6.1, because the old one seems to have developed some errors. So before I sleep, I hope to get that installed.
Karen and I went out to eat at Taco Villa tonight... we've run out of leftovers. While we were there, we talked about how we can improve our relationship... well, how we should spend more time actually doing things together, not just being in the same house at the same time.
We are getting really settled in our ways, it seems... her in front of the TV, me in front of a computer.
The problem is... most of the time that's OK with both of us. Unfortunately, she gets bored with the TV much more frequently than I get bored with the computer.
Which I completely understand... I get bored with the TV very easily.
OK, the CD is burned and it seems to be loading the linux system OK. I need to get to bed... I have to be up at 08:00 tomorrow to wait for the cable guy to install the modem... I still haven't figgered out which machine I want to put it on, so I guess that I'll go with the one I'm running WIN2000 on... it's got the internet sharing already there, I just need to turn it on, and turn off the one on Karen's machine. Eventually, I'll be running it through the linux machine... but don't hold your breath!
Snow in Raleigh... quite a deal for them guys. Besides brother Dan, a fellow journaller, Renee, lives in the vicinity... I remember being in Savanna, GA during the late 60's when there was a "snowstorm"... those people went crazy. It was fun to watch... from a safe place!

... maybe that's because it's been off the last four days. Well, it's on now, so go look. Although... I'll be in bed shortly after I post this, so there won't be much to see.
