Again, busy all night. I did 7 CT exams, and about 40 others. I did get to sit down for 20 minutes and eat, though, that was a plus...
One more twelve-hour night.
I got up late again last night, about 18:15. I thought about calling them and telling them that I would be late, but I decided to just hurry up and get in, and I was there right on time... I'm usually about 15 minutes early.
No really interesting patients last night, unless you count the lady who had her thumb bitten really deeply (stitches required) by an iguana... that was a first for me.
Everything else was just routine... chest x-ray after chest x-ray, obstructive series after obstructive series... flu stuff. Still lotsa really sick people from that... I'm hoping that will end before my next rotation. Makes things really boring... I haven't had a code red trauma for quite a while now.
So I showered and shaved this morning, so I wouldn't have to when I got up, because my getting-up-on-time record hasn't been too good lately. So it's sleep time now.
