29 SEPTEMBER 1997

This has been a long old day, and I'm not really sure why.

I got up this morning before Karen left, but I went back to bed in about an hour, and I slept until 12:00, when the twelve-o'clock emergency siren testing happened. I had very strange dreams, too, wherein my brother Dan was fighting with me. He was really pissed at me for some reason, but he wouldn't tell me about it. Must've been something mom and I talked about this weekend.

When I finally did wake up, once again I had a horrible headache, lasted a couple-three hours. I'm getting really tired of this happening every coupla days.

So, I started cleaning up the basement. Hauled a bunch of old electronics out to the curb, they'll be gone in the morning. Two or three old monitors and a 13-inch TV. Junk I've been saving for umpteen years, waiting for the time and ambition to work on them. No more; they're gone.

I've spent a bunch of time looking for the piece of paper that the cops gave Tyler when his truck got broken into... and I've had no luck at all. They can't give me a police report without the damned number, and they won't look up the number themselves. So I'm continuing to look, but I fear that it's been thrown out... Lacee or Packy probably scribbled on it first, any piece of paper is a challenge to them.

I'm also looking for a CD case that I brought home from work a couple of months ago... I really get frustrated when I can't find something. It will occupy a good portion of my mind (and I can't afford that!) until I find it. OK, call me anal, that's the way my head works.

I did make quite a bit of progress on the basement today, though. It doesn't really look like it, but I have. Karen and I really want to set up the exercise equipment and have it be in a relatively nice place, so I've still got a lot of re-arranging to do.

Thanx for being here!
