Not a bad night and a wonderful morning! I didn't have to work too hard, and I went fishing.
I finally got to sleep yesterday and my headache was gone when I woke up; it returned shortly after I got to work, however, and persisted until about 01:00. That also coincided with my last patient for the night. Strange, but weird. Hmmm.
I forgot my hat when I took off fishing this morning, but I did have some sunscreen, so I lathered the top of my head up with it. I got a look at myself in the mirror when I got back, I sure as hell hope that my head didn't burn or tan in the pattern that I put the stuff on. Streaks and splotches.
Not that it destroyed the day or anything, but as I was putting the boat on the trailer, I slipped and fell, hitting my right axilla (that's armpit for you unmedical people) on the prop of the trolling motor. I decided not to look at it until I got home, since it wasn't bleeding too badly. And it doesn't look too bad, but my bicep will be swollen for a while, and it hurts like hell, kinda like it got a lot of skin scraped off. That's what it looks like, too. Did I mention the pain?
I just got a call from the urologist's office, the PSA was negative also. So I've got an appointment with him next Wednesday. The PSA=negative, the IVP=negative, kinda looks like I'm home free. Except for the fact that he felt a lump in the prostate on the digital exam. The guy has felt a lot of prostates...
So... perhaps... I'm home free. Except for one remaining question... why do my balls hurt?
It's not like it's disabling or anything, just uncomfortable occasionally. And I suppose that I could live with it, if I was sure that it wasn't a symptom of something else. And so far, most of the "something elses" have been eliminated.
Damned if I know. Maybe Dr. Hsu does. I'll ask him when I see him.
In other news... there is no other news. 'Cept I'm going to bed, as soon as Karen calls me back. O'yeah!
This is a good place for another picture, another one from Carol... click on her name to find out more about her! "This one was taken on the east coast of Canada by a man named Vic Hodawanski (quite a name) He is the cousin of my next door neighbour." Enjoy this picture!
