Rough night! Especially after a sleep-deprived day. I was up 'til 13:00 yesterday checking out the new scheme, fixing things as I found them, mostly, although there still remains some cleaning up to do. I'm not done rearranging the front page, either, I'm not really happy with it, it seems to be too cluttered.
I was up on the 6th floor of the hospital today at about 06:45 when a wonderful thunderstorm hit us. The city was layered with grey originally, like a light fog, and each successive hillock became less distinct into the distance. As the storm moved in, the deeper greys advanced, hill by hill, until grey is all that there was. A lot of lightening accompanied the storm. Exciting. I love storms, and they are even more impressive from heights.
I'm going to have another short sleep day today... I'm going in at 16:15 to get an event heart monitor put on. They'll be shaving my chest again (so soon! It just got grown back in!) so I'm going to do some preliminary work with the razor... a smiley face shaved out of my chest hair. The girl that installs the monitors always gives me a hard time about my chest, so I'll give her something to talk about!
Karen didn't win at Harrahs, she lost $40.00 (twice as much as I told her to!)(and about half as much as I expected...) but she had a good time anyway.
Oh, I forgot to say earlier, my glucose tolerance test came out normal. I'm really surprised about that, it leaves no good reason for my blood sugar being so damned low...
I've registered three "complaints" about the frames stuff being gone already. I might just work on a completely alternate site using frames only, if I ever get the time. Frames... either ya love 'em or ya hate 'em.
