Well, I got my sleep. From 02:00 to 10:30, that otta hold me 'til tomorrow.
Still trying to download MSIE 3.0; really slow, there must be a lotta people doing that today. I had it almost downloaded last night when I ran out of disk space. I thought that was really odd, so I checked and yup! it was right. MSIE was taking up 30% of my disk space with temporary disk files, even though I told it that it could have 4%. That rascal! So I told it that it could only have 1%, I wonder what it'll do now? I erased all of the files in the temporary storage area using the menu, now the whole damned thing runs faster. I believe that it must have part of the cache in memory, too, and I always keep it open, so it would slow everything down.
I was way too tired last night to try to delete files. I've done that before when I was tired and regretted it. But MSIE downloaded a lot faster at 01:00! It's taken an hour so far...still about half-way done. Damn! Got cut off again! This is getting tiresome!
Today is my long first day. 16:30 at Medassist, 21:00 at the hospital. If I can make it through this one, I've got it made. Then six more, then a whole week off, no working anywhere! I do have to go to OK to see mom, though, and replace her hard drive. Or figger what's wrong with it... back to DOS. I usta be a DOS guru, but that was two years ago... I'm gonna take a book or two along with me!

I really miss my boys, not really the empty nest syndrome (I don't think so, anyway) but I miss not knowing what they're up to on a daily basis.
Oh, FINE! The server just went down. With MSIE 3.0 99% done. Crap. Guess I'll try again later.

Dad.... i also agree with yer review of ID4. i liked it, but the plot was weak
as hell, and the acting was pretty bad as well. personally, i think it would have
been cool if everybody just died in the first ten minutes, and the rest of the movie
would have been showing the aliens' voyages instead. THAT would have been original.

I'm gonna do some major re-arranging of my journal menus. Your bookmarks will still work, I think... I hope. I've been dissatisfied with them for quite a while, time for something different!
